Church Life

Whether a BBQ, pancake day fun or just our monthly bring & share hot lunch, we love to spend time together in fellowship and eating together!! Bring & Share lunches happen on every 3rd Sunday of the month. There is always lots of food, so all are welcome to join us, even if you don’t bring anything! We really believe in fellowship and sharing all things in common (Acts 2:42) so we have tea and coffee together before and after every Sunday morning meeting. We also encourage regularly sharing meals in each other’s homes to share life together and build community.

Children & Youth

We passionately believe and pray that children and young people will love coming to church! Every Sunday we have Little Sparks, a led-creche for under 5s, and our Ignite group for older children. We also hold regular church events and youth hangouts for our children and young people. For more information, please contact us

Midweek Meetings

Church life isn't just about Sundays! Every week we have a midweek meeting -either meeting in our Tuesday or Wednesday house groups online, or at our in-person house groups altogether time which we call "Overflow". Once every 6 weeks or so we have a men's or women's group meeting too, and those times can take many forms. Whether it's enjoying food, exploring the bible, creative prayer or having a big fire, they are always fun and inspiring times together.

If you are interested in joining in with any of our midweek meetings, please visit us on a Sunday first, get to know us more, and then speak to Joel or Caz Todd.

We are an outward-looking church who want to love and serve the community around us. As well as running a stay-and-play toddler group (make wording link to Little Lanterns page) and a free community meal (make wording link to Community Table page), we do Church On The Street fortnightly on Saturdays - this is when we go out onto the streets to chat and pray with people in our local community over a free hot drink.

Community events are always great fun and we often run special services, Fun Days, and all sorts of outreach events at Christmas, on Pancake Day, Easter and the beginning of the Summer. We also run The Alpha Course, which is a great way to explore life's big questions through a series of engaging videos and discussion that considers the basics of the Christian faith. All are welcome, and all questions are welcome at Alpha. If you would like more information about Alpha or our upcoming events visit our Calendar page, or get in touch via contact us .

Prayer & Worship

Prayer and worship are fundamental to everything we do. We have regular morning prayer meetings from 7.30-8.00am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday & Fridays, on Zoom. In these times someone briefly shares from the Bible and then we spend time praying for the church - for any personal needs from church members, for our church life together and the various things we run. We also hold a monthly worship & prayer night at the church building and these are always wonderful times of worshipping Jesus and praying together.
